Claire is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years experience across a range of clinical settings in both the HSE in Ireland and the NHS in the UK. Claire is a Chartered Member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (M13660).

Claire is passionate about providing a quality service using best practice and evidence based approaches. Claire achieved first class honours in her bachelor of science in Psychology from University of Wales, Institute Cardiff, winning an award for her academic success from the British Psychological Society (BPS). Claire received a scholarship to study a Masters of Science in Foundations of Clinical Psychology at Bangor University, Wales, and then, returned home to complete a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Limerick.

Claire is a highly-skilled clinician, having also completed additional training in the following; autism diagnostic assessments through Trinity College Dublin (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- 2nd Edition – ADOS-2), Mentalisation-Based Therapy at the Anna Freud Centre, London, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at the University of Hertfordshire, UK, Parents Plus training, Parents Plus Disability training, Collaborative and Proactive Solutions training with Dr Ross Greene, to name a few. Most recently, Claire has attended training through ‘Thriving Autistic’ in providing neuroaffirmative autism assessments.

Claire currently works as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in a Paediatric Disability Service in the HSE as well as in the private sector. Claire enjoys working with children and families, with a particular interest in empowering and helping children and parents to gain a greater understanding of a child’s personal strengths and needs, through neuroaffirmative strengths-based autism assessments and cognitive assessments.

Susan is a highly specialised Speech and Language Therapist with over 20 years’ experience in the area of Paediatric Disability. Susan is a Lámh Tutor and is passionate about inclusive communication and use of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Susan has completed extensive post graduate training; Derbyshire, Hanen: It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words, Talkability, Learning Language and Loving it, Talking Mats, Attention Autism, EarlyBird, DIR Floortime, SCERTS and many more. Susan has vast experience working with children with language delay/disorder, developmental delay, intellectual disability and autism. Susan adopts a child/family centered approach in her practice and is passionate about parental empowerment. Susan is a member of the IASLT and is registered with CORU (SL019689).

Susan has extensive experience in diagnostics. She has completed training in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Scale (ADOS 2). She is skilled in multidisciplinary team working.

Susan is also a qualified Intermediary in the Justice System, supporting victims and defendants to give their best evidence. She is highly trained in assessment of functional communication skills and both low and high tech communication supports.
